I do sometimes wonder if the politicians, after having had something explained to them by some flunky exactly as our satirical politician here does, ever stop to ask themselves what the hell they were actually told. It's like there's an unwritten rule: Whatever you do, don't make it clear.

Oh thank goodness this is a parody. I'm not familiar with Clarke and Dawe, but it must be satire.
If it isn't satire, I need to take up drinking in the afternoon.
