Morning has broken

Actually, it's dark right now and it's the evening, but I love the magical crepuscular rays in this sunrise shot from last week. Taken from the Puna cliffs near my home.

Truly, nature at its resplendant best cannot but make of us philosophers.

Among the things scenes like the one in your photo do is root one to the spot, knowing it'll sometimes morph into something different, but as spectacular.

Anil - what a wonderful comment. Couldn't agree more (and congrats on India's latest win!).

HD and Susan - thank you! Susan - I love that blog name, and HD, hope you don't mind if I drop you a line one day about places to visit for photos on the other islands - think you might know some spots I don't!
