Election night sunset
14,000 feet below people have voted in the mid-term elections and wait for the results, as I do! In the meantime, this is one of my last scheduled summit nights at UKIRT and fortunately the sunset was a good one! Unfortunately all the cloud is giving us real problems getting any useful science done. It's going to be a long night...

Absolutely stunning! So were the election results. :-(
Blake - no, not yet. It costs a lot of money and I'm a little short after this year. I plan to go through the process next year but finding the time is actually difficult as I'll be traveling quite a lot. I'll get it done though!
Keera - thanks! I think the election pretty much went as expected. Our local elections were particulary interesting as we had some, er, characters, running for office.
