Tsunami evacuation
Just to let any friends and colleagues of mine that might happen to read this blog know that Pam and I are aware of the tsunami that is on its way to Hawaii after the massive and tragic earthquake in Japan. We will be evacuating shortly and moving inland. Fingers crossed this won't be too bad.

Please be safe guys...
My thoughts are with you both,
Zuzana
Thinking of you and sending best thoughts that you'll be safe.
Praying for your safety, as well as for the safety of the rest of the folks out there.
We are waiting for the all clear at 7 am. Though David and I live near Pearl Harbor, our neighborhood is on top of a hill, so we didn't need to evacuate.
Glad you were safe.
The Pacific has been busy lately: The earthquake in New Zealand, the volcano on the big island, and now the earthquake in Japan. As I write this, I am reading "Tsunami swamps Hawaii beaches, brushes West Coast", and so I assume and am grateful that you and Pam are all right.
Thanks, all. We were allowed back home a few hours ago. No significant damage here although there certainly has been some, especially on the other side of the island. It's nothing, however, compared to the truly horrific scenes in Japan.
Thanks for letting us know, Tom. I'm very glad that you and yours are safe. Those in Japan remain in my best thoughts.
