For Diane and Keera

Diane - for not lowering yourself to the gutter in your last comment, no matter how much it made me laugh! ;)

Keera - just because I think you'll like this picture!

Well, if I'd known cleaning up my act would get me rewarded, I would have done it a long time ago!

OK, yeah, I'm lying. I wouldn't have. As Popeye says, "I yam who I yam." Take me or leave me. And lest you feel guilty about it, you wouldn't be the first who has left. Sigh.

Anyway, thanks for the photo! I love her expression... it has a definite 'bite me' quality to it.

Um to Diane, just fyi from a total stranger, I haven't seen anyone yet with a more popular blog except for the formally funded ones who get their urls advertised in places like newspapers...doesn't look like too many folks leave :) Just don't forget to never issue a party invite to all of your blog readers, unless you live in a mansion ;) Hugs from me...thank you for sharing your writing skills for free online.

Beep... thank you so much... that means more to me than you can possibly imagine.

That's no "bite me" pose. That's a beginning meatloaf pose, one of the most relaxed poses known to cat. (True meatloaf pose is straight position, all four feet hidden under body.) The half-closed eyes are also saying, "Man, I'm so laid back, I'll let you whip out your instrument in front of me!"

(Couldn't leave Diane in the lurch, could I.)

Thanks for the thought and photo, Tom! ;-)

Bubbles and Eddie are 11 and 12 years old respectively. I thought I knew them. If I'd known blogging was the way to really understand their behaviour I wish I'd started blogging a decade ago!
